Let's getcha all up to date.

So Kyle & I found out we're pregnant on 12/21/07. Our initial reaction was a bit of cussing, and a lot of shock. This was totally unplanned. After a bit, the excitement began to set it. It just so happened that the same day my parents were coming in town to spend Christmas with us. We had to think of a way to surprise them, so while I was at work, Kyle headed to Wal-Mart & got them both bibs that say "I love Grandma" and "I love Grandpa". When they got home, we had them sit down, and then open them. Mom screamed "I knew it!" and Dad's reaction was priceless. He looked dumbfounded and said "Are you? ARE you?!"

They were at his Mamaw's house, with all of the Caudill's there to watch. We were waiting to get in the sanctuary at church for the Christmas service, and couldn't go in until they had opened the gift. Kyle & I were so nervous & excited to hear their reaction!

We also got to have an ultrasound early on because of some minor issues that were going on (I'll be nice and spare the graphic details, it turned out to be nothing!) So here's the bean at 10 weeks:
















It was really amazing to see that on the screen. I couldn't believe how fast the heart was beating either!

My coworkers were really excited. Some said "It's a girl!" some said "It's a boy!" and one said "It's a puppy!"

I think a puppy would be easiest!

28 weeks in this ultrasound. It took an hour to get this one shot! I hope you can tell what's what in there!
















Another one at the 28 week mark. On the left is his face, the right is the placenta. He was moving around all over the place, except for his face! He kept it firmly planted in the placenta! I think it's his goal in life to keep us from seeing his face until he's born.
