Conner Heads to Western KY

Kyle, Conner, & I headed to the Lake House that Monday. About 30 minutes before we got there, it started to sleet. Yuck.
This is what the sleet turned into:

Not much getting up and down the hill would be done in the following days. I got a little stir crazy!

Conner & Dad took to each other like ducks to water.

Conner also tried rice for the first time. Needless to say, he wasn't too impressed.

Trina had gotten Conner a John Deere onesie, bib, and boots, and Dad got him a cap. Conner was looking mighty spiffy! Too bad it was too cold to get out on the tractor!
"I'm ready for my close up. Call the ad agencies."

Dad also got Conner a bouncy thing. It hangs in the doorways. He wasn't too sure about it at first. Now I think he's getting to the point where it won't completely freak him out.

Chloe came up to see Conner. They played peek-a-boo, and he loved it! Conner makes friends with everyone.

Mom & I took Conner to the Heart Group's Christmas party. It was great to see all the familiar faces, and meet some new ones! I always liked working there. Conner was a real charmer. I swear, we're gonna be in trouble when he's older.

We left the next day (Saturday) and headed to Gatlinburg. It was a long drive, but fun once we got there! There's a Conner Lane (road? drive? street?) by the Shoney's in Pigeon Forge. One day I'll have Conner's picture made beside it. We would have then, but it was really cold & windy, & Conner was sick, so we decided it wasn't the best idea. We went to the Smoky Mountain Knife Works and Conner made lots of friends there. He loved listening to the Dulcimer! I had him in a sling that had him facing out, and his feet hanging down, and he would kick his feet as if he was dancing every time the man played! Too cute! We also went to a few Christmas stores, and I had to use extreme restraint while in there.

Sunday we were off to Myrtle Beach. It was a long drive, but at least we got there safely!
