Here's Conner's room before & as of yesterday. It's still not complete. Not sure if we'll keep the recliner in there, want to add a toy chest, some shelves to the wall, and a bed skirt.
Conner had his 2 week visit with the doctor today. He's gained 6 oz since his last visit, and has grown 1 1/4 inches. He has to go back next week because he's still not at his original birth weight (he's at 7lbs now, needs to gain 6 oz).
As far as being a parent goes...
It's a real miracle that God has blessed us with Conner. What I find most amazing is that God has trusted us to raise Conner. Conner doesn't belong to Kyle or me, he belongs to God, and here we are, taking care of this little person. I think it's most exciting to see what God has in store for Conner. Since he wasn't planned, and is clearly the product of God's will (instead of our own planning and time line) I know that God has a big plan for him, and I can't wait to see what that is, and to watch Conner grow in his faith!
